About Department

The Department of Physical Education was established right from the inception of the college i.e. in 2007 and this department is well known development of sports and games attitude among students. Physical Education helps students in the foundation for lifelong fitness and high performance in competitive sports. The Department has designed a relevant, need-based curriculum that includes both theoretical and practical components for first-year students. Physical Education also helps students who are willing to crack the competitive examination. This department provides various outdoor and indoor game and sports facilities such as Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Athletics, Rifle Shooting, Fencing Badminton, Shooting Volleyball, Handball etc. With consistent practice and dedication, our students participated in University, State, and National Level games.

Objectives of Department

1. To undertake extension activities and establish linkage with the local communities.
2. Fulfill the need for physical education in the society from grassroots level to higher education.
3. Development of Health, Fitness, and personality of the students.
4. Promote all-round development of society (physical, mental and Social).
5. To develop Sports attitudes among students.
